Mahjong Rental Terms & Conditions

By reserving a mahjong rental from The Coastal Mahj Collective, you agree to the following terms:

Rental Period

Rental periods are based on the selected booking (2-day or 3-day rental).
All items must be available for pickup at the agreed-upon time on the final day of the rental period or delivered to your vacation destination on 30A. 

Delivery & Pickup

Delivery and pickup are included for locations along 30A.
Additional fees may apply for locations outside of this service area.

Delivery and pickup windows will be coordinated prior to your rental.

Payment

Full payment is required to reserve your rental.
Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received.

Cancellations

Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the rental start date may receive a credit toward a future booking.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the rental period are non-refundable.

Use of Equipment

All rental items must be used with care and returned in the condition in which they were received.

Rentals are intended for personal use only and may not be transferred, sub-rented, or used for commercial purposes without prior approval.

Damage, Loss, or Missing Items

The renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or missing items during the rental period.

Replacement costs may include:

  • Mahjong tiles

  • Racks and pushers

  • Mats

  • Accessories and storage cases

A detailed replacement fee schedule will be provided upon request.

Late Returns

Items not ready at the agreed pickup time may be subject to additional fees.

Liability

The Coastal Mahj Collective is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during the use of rental items.

Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a rental inquiry or completing a booking, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Security Authorization

A valid credit card is required to be kept on file for all rentals.

By completing your booking, you authorize The Coastal Mahj Collective to charge the card on file for any loss, damage, missing items, or additional fees incurred during the rental period, as outlined in our Replacement Cost Guide.

Charges will only be applied if necessary and will be communicated prior to processing whenever possible.

We truly appreciate you treating these pieces with care and enjoying them as part of your gathering.

Failure to provide access for scheduled pickup or return of items may result in additional charges.

Mahjong Replacemet Costs 

​

  • Individual Mahjong Tile: $10 per tile

  • Full Tile Set (if incomplete): $200-$400 depending on tile set rented 

Racks & Pushers

  • Single Rack + Pusher: $25

  • Full Set (4): $100

Playing Mat

  • Mahjong Mat: $75

Accessories

  • Dice (set): $10

  • Instruction Card: $15

Storage & Packaging

  • Mahjong Storage Case: $75

Excessive Damage or Loss

In the event that a full set is lost or significantly damaged, a replacement fee of up to $300 may apply.
